Taira Kazunari (played by Hagiwara Rikyu) is a taciturn boy, but he doesn't speak because of his cold personality, but because Taira has a slight stutter, and the symptoms will be aggravated under nervous conditions. In order to avoid this secret from being known by others, Taira always chooses to keep his mouth shut in school. Fortunately, Taira grew up in the meticulous love of his mother, so although there are small physical defects, Taira's personality is very cheerful and optimistic. When Taira was in the third grade, he was asked to introduce himself in front of his classmates. Just when he was blushing and embarrassed, the bad atmosphere was broken by Kiyomi Kanade (played by Yagi Yusei) who broke into the classroom, and Kanade helped Taira out invisibly. From then on, Taira became a slave to the small group of classes headed by Kanade, and was called all day long, but Taira did not feel uncomfortable, but enjoyed it.
