Blunt replaces Holliday Grainger, who was previously announced to join the cast. She and Dornan will play a pair of stubborn Irish lovers. The two are childhood sweethearts. The man is buried in the farm work every day and endures the contempt of his father (Walken), but what he can't stand most is his father's threat to pass the family farm to his American cousin (Hamm). The woman was verbally abused by the man when she was a child, but there have been sparks between them for many years. Her mother (Molloy) vows to unite the two families before it's too late.
