On the occasion of the "August 1st Army Day", the iron-blooded youth inspirational TV series "8848" was grandly launched in Lhasa, Tibet. The whole play tells the story of a group of "post-90s" from all corners of the country who challenged the peaks and themselves with their youth and passion on the Tibetan Plateau and grew into elite special forces. The title "8848" refers to Mount Everest, the "world's highest peak", and refers to the height of life. A group of "post-90s" with distinct personalities, different family backgrounds, and self-centeredness, with different dreams and purposes, came from all corners of the country to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, to the top of the earth where "lack of oxygen but not lack of spirit", and after arduous polar special training, they eventually grew into polar special forces.
