Tham travels a long way to the small island of Donsingtham, in order to meet his brother Tee, who has become a monk. At the temple of Donsingtham, he meets the sculptor Jate, who uses spells on voodoo dolls. Tham hears rumors that his brother has fled after killing the abbot, but Tham does not believe his brother is capable of killing. He also questions the villagers' belief in the Singtham dolls. He believes it is blind superstition, not spiritual protection. Then, a series of vicious events fills the village with terror. A woman goes missing, bodies pile up, and worst of all, the Singtham dolls are destroyed. Angry and seething, the villagers prepare a ritual to curse and hunt down the culprit.
