James (Will Estes) was born into a police family. His father Frank (Tom Selleck) is the current police chief of New York City. As the youngest child in the family, James is undoubtedly the hope and pride of the whole family. After graduating from Harvard Law School, he could have become a successful lawyer, but he decided to follow his father's wishes, put on a police uniform, and become a member of law enforcement. A task from his superiors confused James. He was assigned to be an undercover policeman to participate in a very dangerous case.
