Introduction
Star Trek: Discovery is an American television series that airs on CBS Television and CBS All Access, created by Alex Kurtzman. The series features new characters and is not directly related to the 2016 film Star Trek Beyond. Gretchen Berg and Aaron Helberts are the showrunners. The story is set ten years before the events of The Original Series and is not related to the worldview of the 2009 film Star Trek.
