The infatuated sharpshooter Jackie (Mia Farrow) introduced the poor fiancé Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale) to work at the estate of her friend Linnet Ridgeway (Lois Chiles). Unexpectedly, Simon and Linnet got married soon after, and they went to Egypt for their honeymoon. The angry Jackie followed him to Egypt, harassing him from time to time.
