In the 1980s, Liang Dingwen (Simon Yam) took over the Liang Kee Bakery run by his father Liang Heng (Li Liqun). His father Liang Heng and his son Liang Jiadong (Ran Xu) suddenly became seriously ill, typhoon disasters followed one after another, and his younger brother got into trouble again. His wife Song Manqin (Jiang Shan) was desperate and sold the Liang family mansion to Su Yaoting, who coveted the mansion.
