Introduction
In 1995, Lieutenant Colonel Tevez (Steven Seagal) of the anti-terrorist special operations team led a rescue operation, but it ended in failure... Three months later, David (Kurt Russell), an adviser to the CIA, received news that the leader of the terrorist organization, Abu Yafa, was arrested and would be extradited to the United States. Ten days later, a 747 passenger plane flying from Athens to Washington was hijacked by Abu Yafa's deputy Antar, who demanded that the US government release Abu Yafa. David was ordered to resolve the crisis. He pointed out that the terrorists' original intention was to use poison gas bombs to attack the US mainland, so they must not allow the plane to enter.
