Koshav (Akshay Kumar), who runs a bicycle shop at home, is an older single young man. His boss is tyrannical and requires his son to marry a wife with two thumbs on one hand out of superstition. He also specially arranges for Koshav to marry a cow for the so-called auspicious day. Although Koshav is submissive, he always looks forward to the emergence of beautiful love. By chance, he met Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar), an intellectual woman of Brahmin origin. After the initial friction and misunderstanding, the men and women with huge differences in status and life background got closer and closer, and finally tied the knot.
