Kawahara Kyoichiro (Hiroshi Tate) is a middle-aged company employee who follows the principle of moderation and is a dispensable character. At home, his beloved daughter Mei (Yui Aragaki) is also lukewarm towards him. Kyoichiro is very distressed, but he doesn't know how to improve their relationship. Once, the tram they were riding suddenly encountered an accident. After waking up in the hospital, they found that they had exchanged bodies! Since they couldn't find a way to change back, the two had no choice but to play the role of students/staff instead of each other. There were countless troubles and embarrassments during this period. Dad even "fought wits and courage" with the senior schoolmate (played by Kato Nariaki) that Mei had a crush on.
