In the 1980s, drug lords in the Soviet Union imported a large amount of drugs from the United States. Captain Dego (Arnold Schwarzenegger) was ordered to capture the Georgia drug cartel. However, during the roundup, Dego's comrade-in-arms died and the drug trafficker leader escaped abroad. Soon, in Chicago, the Soviet drug dealer Witt was arrested. The United States and the Soviet Union reached an agreement. Dego went to the United States from Moscow to escort Witt back to the country. The United States sent detective Rezek (James Belushi) as his assistant and translator. Unexpectedly, Witt successfully escaped again with the cooperation of his accomplices. Dego had to reveal Witt's true identity to the United States and work with Rezek to track Witt. The differences between the Soviet Union and the United States are reflected from time to time in Dego and Rezek, but the two warriors soon bridged the differences and cooperated sincerely to pursue the drug lords...
