Michelle (Juliette Binoche) is a rich girl, but she is not happy. She was heartbroken, suffered from eye disease, and decided to wander in the outside world in depression. She likes to paint, and she met Eric (Denis Lavant) with a broken leg on the street, and drew his twitching face. Klaus is a homeless man with nothing, but he fell in love with Michelle. The two began to fall in love, warming each other and healing each other during the wandering. Michelle's vision gradually blurred, and her wish was to see the paintings in the museum before she became blind. The streets were covered with missing person notices from Michelle's family. Eric felt that Michelle was about to leave him and was very sad.
